Here’s the thing: soap is heavy, and that means that shipping is expensive. I have done my own research, and consulted with my soapmaking sisters, and come to the conclusion that USPS Flat Rate Shipping is the way to go. If the shipping of soap is calculated by weight, it’s prohibitive.
The best I can do is to offer shipping in the following categories
(with small handling charges included, for packaging materials and time):
1 bar ($3.50 via First Class Mail)
2-6 bars ($6.00 via USPS Flat Rate Letter Envelope)
7-8 bars ($6.50 via USPS Flat Rate Legal Envelope)
9-40 bars ($15.00 via USPS Flat Rate Medium Box)
1-8 bars ($23.00 via USPS Flat Rate Letter or Legal Envelope, the price is the same)
9-40 bars ($45.00 via USPS Flat Rate Medium Box)
1-8 bars ($28.00 via USPS Flat Rate Letter or Legal Envelope, the price is the same)
9-40 bars ($64.00 via USPS Flat Rate Medium Box)
Please note: The sizing of the USPS Flat Rate Small and Large Boxes are not conducive to getting a good number of my bars in the box. That’s why they are omitted as options here.
The shipping option that is right for your region and number of bars purchased will be automatically added when you choose your shipping address.
